This is a most expensive country to live in

and with doctors' fees and the fact that I am obliged to keep

my flat going, it is far more than what we are justified in

paying and can afford to pay. Still, will you kindly explain

why the exemption allowed for my wife in your Taxation scheme

is the same as for those whose wives are with them and enjoying

the cheap living expenses of the Colony. Is this discrimination

justified?

Let me tell you, that while my wife is kept out of

the Colony and three or four hundred favoured ones are allowed

to remain for no good reason, I do not propose paying any

Canadian Income Tax or local salary tax for the very good

reason it cannot be paid.
